This morning felt a little off. I think it has to do with my breakfast. Each day, I have a breakfast of yogurt, with lots of berries, other fruits, and even little tomatoes (which is also a fruit but whatever). And I sprinkle in organic oats and grains cereals… except today… I… forgot!
Those who know me well may not be surprised that I forgot something. I’d like to think I know myself well too, so I didn’t think anything of it. But as the morning went on, I was struggling. And then at lunch, I decided to break from healthier choices and go for a 3-item combo at a Chinese fast food place. Then I felt even worse…
Everybody has heard the says, “nutritious food is good fuel for your body and mind” etc. and I’d like to add that mixing fuel qualities makes you feel extra awful. I ended up saving myself by not eating all of my lunch and eating some fruits instead (those who know me would also be appalled that I threw out food).
If I want to consider myself an F1 racecar, I need to consistently feed myself top quality energy (customized blends in the F1 world) to optimize my performance, in addition to constantly driving my car on challenging courses.
