Wenever there's new content, I'll let you know in a fun and entertaining manner :) My mom's on this list, so trust me, I won't be spammy.
I believe academics are important. We probably spend as much time at school in our early lives as we do sleeping. Though some of my more efficient friends combine the two activities, I always try to be engaged and get something out of the time I’m investing.
Crescent Park Elementary School was where I learned how to speak English, how to play an entire football game during the 15-min. of recess, and how to make body armour out of tin foil for the school’s Ancient Greek plays.
Later, I moved onto Elgin Park Secondary School just up the street, where I learned how to speak French, how to be on the top-ranked volleyball team in the province, and how to use integrals to find the volume of body armour.
My studies then took me to Queen’s University, where I graduated with a Bachelor’s in Commerce, First Class Honours. In third year, I did a study exchange to HEC Paris, which is actually about 45 minutes away from Paris, but an unforgettable experience nonetheless.
Institutionalized learning or not, I will always yearn to learn. I try to learn something from Wikipedia everyday… so I think that counts me as a student of Wikiversity as well.
